Vocational Service
- Promote high ethical standards in business and professions; recognize the worthiness of all useful occupations and promote as an opportunity to serve society. Activities include designating a Business Person of the Year award and providing relevant programs/speakers to promote this avenue of service.
1. Recognize one or more community members who have made outstanding professional achievements while maintaining high ethical standards (e.g. Teacher of the Year, Police Officer of the Year)
2. Encourage members to join and serve on committees of professional or trade associations or develop a campaign to promote pride in vocational or professional skills in the workplace.
