The Bay City Swimming Board of Directors has met regularly since last summer in preparation for the 2002 swim season.  Now that the CCAA spring meeting has been held, all of the dates, times, and prices have been finalized for the upcoming summer.

 

We are happy to announce that Mark Sardelich will be our Head Coach for the Summer League Program.

 

All parents are encouraged to invite other families and swimmers to participate in our Summer League Program.

Officials Clinics:     Sunday, May 5, 2002

Brazosport High School    2:00 -5:00 p.m.

                                               

It is essential that we have some parents get certified as officials at this free officials clinic.  We have only 1 current official who is continuing.

 

We need a minimum of 3 officials from our team at each meet.

      Monday, May 6 thru May 31 . . . 4:30-6:30 p.m.

      Except for Monday May 27, 2002

 

      Bay City High School Pool

 

Cost:  $65 for 1st swimmer in family

          $60 for 2nd swimmer in family

          $55 for 3rd swimmer in family

 

Swimmers who have completed Grade 9 or above will have the basic fee waived, but will be responsible for concession stand items, TAAF entry fees if applicable and participating in the fundraiser.           

Pictures this year is on June 12th during practice.

 

**Copy of birth certificate required for all new swimmers.**

 

        *Practice will begin on  Mon. May 13 in the evenings.

Stroke Clinic will be offered this year.  The schedule

is as follows:

 

                        Session 1     May 13-17   4:45 to 5:30

                Session 2     May 13-17   5:45 to 6:30

 

The price per child is $25 per session.

Registration will be the same time as summer league.
