Purpose
Matagorda County Teen Court serves the youth of Matagorda County by providing alternative sentencing options for juveniles in a peer court environment. If you would like to be involved please contact B.J. Wise between 8:00 -- 3:00 Monday-Friday at 979-245-1401 or by pager at 979-424-0070. Our new office is located at 2408 Ave. D. We have teen attorney workshops once a month call for time and dates
Court is held on the first, second and third Tuesday evenings of the month at the Municipal Court located in the Matagorda County Building, 1824 Sixth St. in Bay City. It is opened to the public and all volunteers (adult and teens) are welcomed. Court sessions begin at 5:30 p.m. and complete around 7:00 p.m.. Adult and Teen volunteers are expected to arrive between 5:00p.m.-5:15p.m.
